(5/16/08) - After two magical seasons, the stars were not aligned for the Dolphins in 2008 despite junior catcher Jeremy Gillan going 3-for-4 with a double, two home runs and three RBI as the JU baseball team failed to earn a bid for the Atlantic Sun Conference Tournament with an 8-6 loss to Kennesaw State, Friday afternoon in Game Two of a doubleheader at John Sessions Stadium.
 
 
Junior left fielder Kyle Fleming finished with a double but the Dolphins fell to Kennesaw State, 10-0, in Game One of a doubleheader at John Sessions Stadium.
 
 
 
Junior catcher Brad Simmons hit his third home run of the season but the Dolphins fell to Kennesaw State, 7-1, Thursday evening at John Sessions Stadium.
 
 
 
MLB pitcher Russ Ortiz, who was an All-Star with the Atlanta Braves in 2003, will throw out the ceremonial first pitch prior to the Dolphins 1 p.m. game against Kennesaw State on Friday at Sessions Stadium.
