The Dolphins play all their home games at the new Jacksonville University Softball Complex, which was opened during the Dolphins' inaugural season in 2003 and is located in "the valley" behind Historic Swisher Gymnasium on JU's campus. The Complex, which is conveniently located below the student dormitories en route to the main student center, is already one of the finest playing facilities in the Atlantic Sun Conference. The field is a mixture of clay, turface and 419 sod, and is nestled among the grassy burms and plush palm tress, complete with a scenic view of the St. Johns River and bustling downtown Jacksonville.

The complex, which seats approximately 500 people, boasts a full covered batting cage, restrooms in each dugout and a full-size bullpen for each team. The Dolphins' newly installed scoreboard was donated by K-Rain, an irrigation company which has featured the JU Softball Complex in its national brochure.

The groundbreaking of the complex took place on June 10, 2002, and quickly thereafter former head coach Jeff Franquet went to work spending 16 to 17 hours a day getting the field ready for the JU Fall Classic, which took place on October 20th. He worked tirelessly raising money and utilizing numerous resources to assure the Dolphins would have a top-notch softball facility for years to come.
