The 2007-08 academic year will see the JUSN expand and enhance its coverage of the Dolphins.

Radio

The JUSN recently signed an agreement with 1010XL, a 50,000-watt station in Jacksonville, as the flagship station for Dolphins broadcasts. The JUSN will produce a weekly coach's show through football and basketball season, while covering each home and away contest.

Barry Milligan returns for his second year as the "Voice of the Dolphins," handling the play-by-play duties for all broadcasts.

Television

One of the areas that the JUSN will expand its coverage is in television, as all six home games will broadcast locally on a tape delay basis with Comcast. The agreement with Comcast brings JU Football to more than 500,000 cable subscribers in Duval County.

Cole Pepper will be the host of JU's television coverage, with former JU wide receiver and power forward Micah Ross serving as the color analyst. Another former Dolphin, Matt Kampfe, will be reporting from the sidelines.

Internet

JUDolphins.com will also expand its coverage with the new video streaming channel in a partnership with Turner. The Dolphins will broadcast a minimum of 60 events this year, including every home men's and women's basketball game.

The new video channel will also feature weekly coach's shows for several sports, as well as Q&A sessions with JU student-atheltes. It is scheduled to begin on Sept. 10.

While the new video channel expands the coverage, fans will still be able to read up on JU athletics through JUDolphins.com. The website will continue to be a one-stop shop for all thing pertaining to JU athletics.

One of the new items in terms of coverage will be the weekly chat that the JUDolphins.com staff will hold to discuss anything and everything pertaining to JU athletics. Those are scheduled for 3 p.m. each Monday.

Sponsorships are available. Contact the JU Athletic Department at (904) 256-7400 for more details.
