The JU rowing teams will compete in its final event of the 2007-08 fall season as the Dolphins make their way to the Savannah River for The Head of the South on Saturday.

JU, which has tallied five medals through two events, will have over 20 boats competing as the squad makes its final analysis before gearing up for the spring season.

The Men's Championship 8 "A" boat composed of coxswain Jessica Marchant, Adam Heine, Greg Boccieri, Dylan Kosten, Patrick Lura, Chris Carter, Richmond Jones, Lee Richard and Bradley Woodrum will compete at 4:45 p.m.

The Men's Championship 8 "B" boat with coxswain T.J. Urbanek, Tyler Humprey, Stefan Negaard, Garrett Markle, Sebastian Kuhn, Erich Negaard, Charlie Allen, Michael Scully and Joseph Civello will also compete in the 4:45 p.m. race.

The Women's Championship 8 "A" made up of coxswain Jill Sarno, Stephanie Bechtold, Lyndsay Blair, Jill Carmody, Adelina Anderson, Jessica Tuten, Danielle Fournier, Jennifer Barker and Kip Wells will race at 4:45 p.m.

The Women's Championship 8 "B" with coxswain Amanda Soukup, Kelly Burke, Kate Gout, Candice Barber, Rachael Pacheco, Morgan McTiernan, Alaina Kemp, Samantha Newell and Alison McGonegal will also compete at 4:45 p.m.

The Men's Freshman 8 with coxswain Jamie Goldstein, Dylan Kosten, Kevin Friedlander, Erich Negaard, Christopher Barse, Matt Repici, Zach Hosford, John Gerety and Ryan Kilpatrick will go at 2:45 p.m.

The Men's Lightweight 8 made up of coxswain Anthony Magro, Matt Repici, Stefan Negaard, Tyler Humphrey, Charlie Allen, Rick McCarson, Lucas Meers, Michael Scully and Kevin Friedlander will compete at 1:30 p.m.

The Men's Novice 8 with coxswain Maria Sotelo, Ian Wadsworth, Brian Erickson, Billy Bergen, Will Dick, Dan Hutchinson, David Zunz, Chris Hall and DeMarco Mims will compete at 2:45 p.m.

The Women's Novice 8 consisting of coxswain Claire Futo, Emily Kraudel, Elise Perna, Julia Fairchild, Karly Greer, Brittany Cahan, Alissa Minnick, Samantha Newell and Myisha Morgan will start things off at 9:15 a.m.

The Dolphins will also have a Mixed 2, four Men's Pairs, Women's Club 1, Men's Lightweight 4, Men's Novice 4, Men's Championship 4, Women's Championship 4 "A" & "B", Women's Championship 2, Women's Freshmen 4, and the Women's Novice 4 competing at the event.
