Willie Danzer enters his first year at JU as the strength & conditioning intern.

Prior to JU, he served as a Sports Performance Assistant at Northwestern State University where he was in charge of football, women's basketball and volleyball.

Danzer, originally from Dubuque, Iowa, attended and played football at the University of Dubuque before transferring to the University of Northern Iowa.

He has a BS in Exercise Science from Northern Iowa, is a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS), USA Weightlifting Level-1 (USAW-1) certified, and is certified in CPR and First Aid.

Prior to NSU, Danzer worked as a volunteer assistant strength coach at Loras College where he assisted in the physical development of numerous sports.

Danzer is also an American Powerlifting Association Certified Referee.
