Leonard is in his 10th year as the equipment manager at Jacksonville University. He oversees the equipment needs of the entire Dolphin athletic program.

Leonard helped with the USA basketball camp as the team trained for the 2004 Athens Summer Olympics and has been assisting Gator Bowl teams and officials since 1997.

Leonard came to the Dolphin program after serving as a volunteer assistant in equipment with the Jacksonville Jaguars. Prior to that, he served as an assistant golf professional at the TPC at Sawgrass.

A native of Jacksonville, Leonard is a graduate of Terry Parker High School and a 1987 graduate of Georgia Southern University.

Originally from Atlanta, Ga., Leonard, who is single, has been a resident of Jacksonville since the age of 10.
