AS A REDSHIRT-SOPHOMORE (2007): Top arm out of the bullpen after leading the team with 29 appearances...earned a no-decision in his lone start of the year at Florida (3/6)...also led all relievers with four wins and 61 innings pitched...tied for second on the squad with two saves, including four shutout innings of relief against Campbell in game two of a doubleheader (4/6) and two innings of perfect relief against Gardner-Webb in the A-Sun Tournament (5/25)...notched a career-best 4.1 innings of relief on two occasions, including a scoreless performance to help preserve a 5-3 win over No. 1 Florida State (3/21)...tied a career-best with four strikeouts on two occasions (La Salle - 3/2, UNC-Greensboro - 3/10)...in 24 appearances after a loss to No. 29 Auburn, he lowered his ERA from 8.59 to 4.80...earned A-Sun Academic All-Conference honors and was named to the Dean's List.

AS A FRESHMAN (2005): Sat out the year as a medical reshirt after recovering from shoulder surgery...earned A-Sun Academic All-Conference honors and was named to the Dean's List.

HIGH SCHOOL: Played his senior and sophomore seasons in the outfield and also served as a pitcher at Eagles View Academy for coach Gil Morales...as a senior, he led the squad to a district and regional title...as a sophomore, he posted a 7-4 record with a 2.50 ERA in 61 innings, while also batting .460 with 10 doubles...played his junior season at Providence High School for coach Bill Bell...led the squad to a 30-2 record, a district and regional crown and a state title after posting a 12-0 record with a 1.32 ERA in 70 innings...also earned first team Class-A all-State, first team all-city and 2003 FHSAA all-tournament accolades...played his freshman season at Trinity Christian Academy for coach Bobby Forsythe...led the squad to a 22-6 mark after finishing with a 6-1 record in 36.0 innings pitched.
