AS A SENIOR (2008): Named to the Atlantic Sun Conference All-Preseason Team as a starting pitcher. AS A JUNIOR (2007): Slowed during the season due to a nagging back injury...appeared in 20 games, including nine starts...began the year in the starting rotation before moving to the bullpen full time...went 1-0 with a 1.42 ERA and a save in four appearances in the A-Sun Tournament...went 1-2 with a 5.59 ERA with 21 strikeouts and 29 innings in nine starts...went 2-0 with a 1.21 ERA, 16 strikeouts and 22.1 innings in 11 appearances out of the bullpen...finished with a season-high six innings in a win over Bethune-Cookman (2/4)...notched a career-best 4.1 innings of relief in the second game of a doubleheader at Mercer (3/31)...tallied a season-high six strikeouts against Campbell (4/7)...earned A-Sun Academic All-Conference honors and was also named to the Dean's List.

AS A SOPHOMORE (2006): Emerged as the ace of the Dolphin staff and one of the top pitchers in the nation after making the transition from position player...named Collegiate Baseball Foundation All-Amerca and was a semi-finalist for the Brooks Wallace College "Player of the Year" Award after leading the nation with a 12-0 record in the regular season...named A-Sun "Pitcher of the Year" and first team all-conference after ranking in the top five in wins, innings pitched, complete games and opponent batting average...also named Third Team ESPN The Magazine Academic All-America after posting a 3.74 GPA...named conference pitcher of the week after clinching the Dolphins' first A-Sun regular-season title with a one-hit complete game at Lipscomb (5/18)...after a no-decision against Geogia Southern in his debut, he won eight-consecutive decisions...during that time, he went 8-0 with a 1.46 ERA, 31 strikeouts and a .247 opponent batting average in 55.2 innings...notched his first career win with seven shutout innings against Bethune-Cookman (2/12)...struck out a career-best seven batters on two occasions...also earned his first career save with a perfect inning of relief against Wagner (3/15)...at the plate, he had four starts as the designated hitter...finished with a season-high two hits at Lipscomb (5/19)...drove in a season-high two runs at Florida Atlantic (4/30)...earned A-Sun Academic All-Conference honors and was also named to the Dean's List.

AS A FRESHMAN (2005): Appeared in 23 games with seven starts, including four in right field and three as the designated hitter...also made three relief appearances on the mound...recorded his first collegiate hit at USF (2/25)...drove in a career-high two runs at Gardner-Webb (4/16)...hurled one inning of scoreless relief with two strikeouts in his collegiate debut against Toledo (3/9)...earned A-Sun Academic All-Conference honors and was named to the Dean's List...in summer league play, earned all-star and team position player MVP accolades with the Orlando Shockers of the Florida Collegiate Summer League.

HIGH SCHOOL: Four-year starter as a first baseman, outfielder and pitcher at Lake Brantley High School for coach Mike Smith...as a senior, he was named Seminole County "Player of the Year", first team All-State, all-Central Florida and all-conference after leading the Patriots to the state final four...posted an 11-2 record with a 1.96 ERA and 78 strikeouts in 72.0 innings, while batting .343 with 12 doubles...as a junior, he earned first team all-conference honors after batting .383...as a sophomore, he was named second team all-conference after hitting .386...in AAU action, he led the Orlando Storm to a state championship in 2001 and a national title in 2000...off the field, he was a four-time National Honor Roll member and Principal's Award honoree after finishing with a 4.0 GPA throughout his prep career...also a member of the National Honor Society from 2001-03.
