PRIOR TO JU: Played one season as a pitcher at Florida Junior College, in Temple Terrace, Fla., for coach Kerry Keanan...led the Falcons to a 33-6 record and a USCAA National Championship...went 7-1 with a 2.10 ERA and 96 strikeouts in 63.0 innings en route to all-american accolades...played his freshman season at Daytona Beach Community College for coach Tim Touma...led the Falcons to a 33-12 mark and a Mid Florida Conference title.

HIGH SCHOOL: Four-year letterwinner as a pitcher at Trinity Christian High School for coach Mike Jones...led the squad to a pair of district tiles as a junior and freshman and a second-place finish in the state as a sophomore...in AAU play, led the Loudon Rangers with a 2.64 ERA and 63 strikeouts and was invited to the Valley League All-Star Game.
