AS A REDSHIRT JUNIOR (2006): Started 34-of-38 games at second base...sat out 11 games with an ankle injury (3/31-4/21)...tallied a season-high seven-game hitting streak (2/18-3/2)...tied a career high with three hits against Gardner-Webb (3/31)...drove in four runs on four occasions...stole a career-high seven bases on the season...ranked second on the squad with seven sacrifice bunts...earned A-Sun Academic All-Conference honors for the second time and was named to the President's Honor Roll with a 4.0 GPA.

AS A REDSHIRT SOPHOMORE (2005): Appeared in 43 games with 31 starts, including third base (25), second base (5) and designated hitter (1)...started in 26 of the final 27 games of the season...increased his average 65 points (.233-.298) during that span...ranked fifth on the squad with a .298 average...ranked second on the squad with a career-high 10-game hitting streak (3/26-4/9)...tallied his career high with three hits against Campbell (4/9) and at Gardner-Webb (4/16)...tied his career high with three RBI against Florida Atlantic (4/3) and Campbell (4/9)...hit a career-high two doubles against Lipscomb (4/23)...tallied his first career triple against Georgia Southern (2/15)...ranked third on the squad with a .342 batting average during A-Sun play. AS A REDSHIRT FRESHMAN (2004): Played in 35 games, including 17 starts at second base, one start at first base and one at designated hitter...recorded his first hit with a pinch hit double vs. Western Michigan (3/2)...hit his first home run vs. UCF (4/3)...went 3-for-4 with a double and two RBI vs. UCF (4/4)...earned A-Sun Academic All-Conference honors.

AS A FRESHMAN (2003): Redshirted his first season at JU.

HIGH SCHOOL: Four-year starter as a second baseman at Clearwater Central Catholic High School for coach Todd Vaughn...as a senior, he earned all-state honors after helping the Marauders capture the state championship with a 32-1 record...as a junior, he earned all-state accolades after hitting .370 as Central Catholic went 22-10...as a sophomore, he hit .450, the fourth-highest average in school history, and also set the school record for walks in a season as the Marauders won the district title...hit .310 as a freshman.

PERSONAL: Born Sept. 12, 1983, in Louisville, Ky...son of Eddie and Sally...has a sister, Lauren...majoring in business and finance...created "Hits for Hospice" campaign during his junior year to raise donationsCommunity Hospice of Northeast Florida in honor of his late grandfather.
