AS A REDSHIRT JUNIOR (2006): Appeared in 56 games, including 36 starts as the designated hitter, 11 starts at third base and three starts at first base...finished with career highs in every offensive category...ranked fourth on the squad with a .332 batting average, 71 hits and 11 doubles...tallied a career-high 13-game hitting streak (2/25-3/18)...drove in a career-high four RBI at Florida A&M....tied for third on the squad with 12 multi-RBI games, including four games with three RBI...had a career high three hits on six occasions...named to the Athens Regional All-Tournament Team after batting .333 with a double, an RBI and five total bases. AS A REDSHIRT SOPHOMORE (2005): Appeared in 31 games, including three starts at first base and as the designated hitter...went a career-high 3-for-6 with two doubles, four runs and an RBI against Florida A&M (2/8)...also registered his first career steal against Florida A&M (2/8)...recorded a double at Florida A&M (3/9)...tallied pinch hits at USF (2/26) and Georgia State (3/19-20)...did not commit an error in 61 chances during the year...earned A-Sun Academic All-Conference honors. AS A REDSHIRT FRESHMAN (2004): Appeared in 15 games, including six starts at first base...recorded his first career hit as a pinch hitter against Western Michigan (3/2)...hit his first triple vs. Bethune-Cookman (5/21)...hit .429 with runners on-base and .500 with runners in scoring position...committed only one error in 51 chances in the field (.981). AS A FRESHMAN (2003): Redshirted his first season at JU. HIGH SCHOOL: Two-year letterwinner at Englewood High School for coach Lee Geiger...helped the Rams to a 48-15 record in two years, including a 28-4 mark as a senior...as a senior, he hit .333 with four doubles, 14 RBI and 18 runs to help Englewood to its second straight conference championship and a regional semifinal appearance...also lettered in soccer all four years for coach Thom Costello...scored seven goals and had 10 assists as a senior to help the Rams to a 25-2-2 record...lettered once in tennis and swimming...off the field, he was a two-time Deerwood Rotary Scholar-Athlete and a member of the National Honor Society.
