Prior to JU: Played his junior season at Florida State as a first baseman and designated hitter for Mike Martin...started 12 games and finished the year with a .279 average, two home runs and eight RBI...prior to FSU, he was a two-year starter at Tallahassee Community College as a first baseman and designated hitter for Mike McCloud...as a sophomore, he earned first team all-Panhandle Conference honors after batting .390 with eight home runs and 50 RBI...as a freshman, he led the Eagles to a conference title.

High School: Three-year starter at St. John the Baptist High School as a catcher and third baseman for John Hayban...led the Cougars to a combined 57-13 record during that span...as a senior, he earned all-state and all-conference honors after batting .405 with five home runs and 30 RBI...as a junior, he was named all-state, conference "Player of the Year", and team MVP after batting .485 with 12 home runs and 40 RBI...also led the Cougars to 23-1 record and a conference title.
