Jacksonville, Fla. - Jacksonville University sophomore baseball player Chad Oliva (Palm Beach Gardens, Fla.) was named to the Baseball America mid-season sophomore All-American Team as a designated hitter earlier this week.  One of the top Dolphin hitters all season, Oliva currently ranks second on the team in batting average (.370) and hits (57), and is first in home runs (6) and RBI (54). Oliva, with the other members of the mid-season check list, will appear in an upcoming Baseball America issue.
