2006-07: Played in all 29 games as a true freshman, starting 28...named to the A-Sun all-freshman team...finished second on the team in scoring (11.7 ppg) and rebounding (5.2 rpg)...scored in double figures 18 times, including the final three games of the season...had two double-doubles - the first a 14-point, 10 rebound performance against Campbell (Jan. 4); the final was a 17-point, 11-rebound outing against Lipscomb on Feb. 26...hit 30 3-pointers during the season, the third highest total on the team, while ranking second in 3-point percentage...hit three 3-pointers in a game three times...racked up a season-high 19 points against Mercer (Jan. 18)...was second on the team in field goal percentage, hitting 50 percent from the floor (132-264). Quoting Coach Warren: "He has the ability at the power forward position to step behind the 3-point line and extend defenses. He's a power forward who can bang inside and get rebounds, but has a good shooting touch from outside. He'll complement our other post players well." High School: Colbert joins the Dolphins after an exceptional senior year at Crawford County High School, averaging 25 points, 13 rebounds, six assists, four steals and three blocks per game...while facing double teams throughout his senior year, Colbert was able to handle the extra defender, raising his assist total...named second team all-state in Class 2A in Georgia after his junior year and first team all-state in Class 2A his senior year.
