2006: Started 6-of-10 games at right tackle as a redshirt-sophomore...after starting the first five games, he sat out four games due to a broken bone in his hand...returned to the staring lineup in the final week of the season to help Jerry Brant become JU's all-time leading rusher (2,368 yards) with 129 yards against No. 3 Drake (11/11)...tallied a tackle on special teams against No. 3 Drake (11/11). 2005: Appeared in three games at right tackle, including his first career start against Davidson (10/15)...against Davidson, the Dolphins racked up 221 rushing yards and had two rushing touchdowns to earn a 21-13 win on Homecoming...in his two other appearances, the running game put up 356 yards against Butler (9/24) and 371 yards against North Greenville (10/27). 2004: Sat out his freshman season as a redshirt. High School: Three-year starter at Miami Sunset High School for coach Robert Fernandez...as a senior, he earned the Hold the Rope Award after allowing only three sacks and recording 26 pancake blocks as a guard/center...also a team captain...as a junior, he earned Gatorade Rookie of the Year and Versatile Player of the Year honors despite a knee injury during the season...prior to the injury, he recorded 13 pancake blocks as a tackle/guard while also snagging three catches for 13 yards and a touchdown as a tight end...as a sophomore, he helped the Knights to a 6-4 record and a second-place finish in district after allowing no sacks while registering 10 pancake blocks as a tackle...also lettered one year of track and field in the shot put...named to the honor roll all four years and was a member of the DECA Business Club.
