High School: One-year starter at quarterback for Mike Merrill at Cardinal Gibbons High School...as a senior, he earned team MVP honors after completing 64-of-98 attempts for 1,012 yards and 13 touchdowns with only one interception...the Redskins went 7-2 and placed second in the district as the squad reached the playoffs for the first time in four years...suffered a separated left shoulder before the end of the season...invited to compete in the Broward County All-Star Game...as a junior, he completed 12-of-20 passes for 130 yards and a touchdown...competed at Deerfield Beach High School as a sophomore.
