High School: Four-year letterman at Vero Beach High School for coach Billy Livings...started at quarterback all three years on varsity, as well as on the freshman team...threw for 734 yards and five touchdowns as a senior...earned honorable mention 6A all-state honors as a junior after throwing for 1,331 yards and 14 touchdowns as he helped lead Vero Beach to a 7-4 record and its 12th straight playoff appearance...completed 73 passes for 952 yards and 13 touchdowns as a sophomore as Vero Beach finished 10-2 and was ranked as high as sixth in the state...off the field, was inducted into the National Honor Society as a junior.
