2006: Impact player at strong safety as a true freshman...entered preseason camp as a running back before moving to defense...started all 10 games at strong safety...tallied a season-high 11 tackles at Morehead State (10/21)...tied his season-high with 11 tackles (seven solo) against No. 1 San Diego (11/4)...recorded his first interception and his first sack while also breaking up a pass against Dayton (10/14)...also defended a pass against Gardner-Webb (9/2), at Southeastern Louisiana (9/16) and at Butler (9/23)...finished with at least five tackles in 8-of-10 games.

High School: Three-year starter in football at Port Charlotte High School for coach Ray Hixon...as a senior, named team MVP while being able to play only 7 games due to an injury... also three-year starter at guard for coach Billy Specht for the Pirate basketball team, while earning four-letters in track for coach Dave Hoffer.
