JACKSONVILLE, Fla. - The Jacksonville University junior varsity football team will hit the field for the time this fall with a five-game schedule.

The Dolphins will be at home for four of those, starting on Sept. 23 against Webber International at 1 p.m.

"This schedule is very competitive and gives this group of young men an opportunity to showcase their ability as well as gain game experience," said JU head coach Kerwin Bell. "They are going to be running the same offense and defense as the varsity, so they will know our system and be able to step up if called upon."

The Dolphins will have two more home games with Fork Union on Oct. 4 (1 p.m.) and Edward Waters on Oct. 11 (1 p.m.). JU will travel to Webber International on Nov. 1 (6:30 p.m.) before finishing the season on Nov. 8 against North Carolina Tech at home (1 p.m.)
