March 1, 2008 JACKSONVILLE, Fla. - The JU men's tennis team finished off a sweep of its first two Atlantic Sun Conference matches on Saturday, knocking off Lipscomb 6-1. JU won the doubles point and won five of the six singles matches, two of those going three sets. "I'm pleased with how well we played today to open conference play 2-0," said JU head coach Shane Wood. "We still have a lot of work to do though as we continue in conference play." Jordi Ballester won the No. 1 match in a three-set battle, 6-3, 4-6, 10-2. Marcos Oliveira won the No. 4 match after dropping the first set, rallying for a 2-6, 6-4, 10-7 win.
