High School: Four year starter at Felix Varela...named "Best Defensive Player" of her team and earned all-county honorable mention honors as she led her team to the GMAC championship as a freshmen...named her team's "most versatile player" her sophomore season as they won the district championship...led team to regional runner-up finish as a junior and senior....was voted team "most valuable player" for her club team the Miami Sunblazers as she captained them to the Torneo Mexicana U.S. championship in 2006...graduated Magna cum laude...member of Phi Beta Chi, Mu Alpha Theta and Quill & Scroll.
