Keri Zwikker named Community First Credit Union Athlete of the Week

Sept. 5, 2007

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. - Junior forward Keri Zwikker of the women's soccer team has been named inaugural Community First Credit Union "Athlete of the Week" after her outstanding performances in the Dolphins' season opening win against Presbyterian, and the heartbreaking double-overtime loss to Indiana over the weekend.

Zwikker registered four goals and an assist in the two games including the game-winner in the 4-2 win over Presbyterian. She was named one of the top performers of the week by the Atlantic Sun Conference.

Her four goals bring her career total to 28, good for fifth-place on the Dolphins career goals list. She is only two shy of Ranveig Aas-Hanssen, who is in fourth-place with 30 goals.

Zwikker, who was named the inaugural preseason A-Sun MVP, will look to continue her good form as the Dolphins take on Baylor at 7 p.m. on Friday in the Fourth Annual Kick Out Cancer Tournament.
