Prior to JU: Started one year under head coach Christine Ahern at Santa Fe Community College and led team to 56-7 record...named 2006 NFCA ­­­­All-American and was named Mid-Florida Conference "Player of the Year" after batting .397 and had 19 doubles, 45 RBI, four home runs and was perfect on 15 stolen base attempts...named "Redshirt of the Year" after sitting out her first season.

Tri County High School: Started three years under head coach Montie Howard...led team to region finals her senior season...team finished sixth in the state her junior year...led team to region finals her sophomore season.

Personal: Born April 3, 1987 in Pensacola, Fla...daughter of Douglas and Judy Monahan...has two brothers; Lucas (26) and Shane (25)...cousin Stewart currently plays on the JU baseball team...majoring in exercise science.
