         <description><![CDATA[For the second straight year, the JU women's tennis faced a Florida team that was ranked among the best in the country in the first round of the NCAA Tournament.<p>Unfortunately for the Dolphins, the result was similar as JU dropped a 4-0 decision to the sixth-ranked Gators at the Ring Tennis Complex on Tuesday night.<p>"I thought the girls played well," said JU head coach Shane Wood. "We really fought through every court which was the goal that we had planned for ourselves. Playing a nationally ranked program, I thought the team followed through really well."]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[A practice outing at the Ring Tennis Complex on Thursday wrapped up the JU women's tennis team's preparations for the NCAA Tournament.<p>The Dolphins (20-5) face the daunting task of playing No. 6 Florida in the first round of the NCAA Tournament. The two teams faced off in the first round of the NCAAs a year ago, with the Gators advancing with a 4-0 win.<p>"We had a good practice today and the girls are loose," said JU head coach Shane Wood. "We are going to come out tomorrow with nothing to lose and play as well as we can against one of the top teams in the country.]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[With a second-straight Atlantic Sun Conference championship trophy in tow, the JU women's tennis team will make the trek to Gainesville to face the No.6 seed Florida in the first round of the NCAA Tournament.<p>Joining JU and Florida in the Gainesville regional will be Ohio State and Auburn, who will face off in the first round on Friday, May 9. The winners of each match will face off for the right to go to the national championships on May 10.<p>"Obviously it's a tough draw, but we're excited to be in the tournament," said JU head coach Shane Wood. "Having played Florida last year in the tournament, we want to build off of that experience and make it a little more challenging match."]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[The JU women's tennis team picked up its second straight Atlantic Sun Conference championship on Sunday afternoon, knocking off host and second seed East Tennessee State, 4-2.<p>With the win, the Dolphins (20-5) advance to the NCAA Tournament for the second straight season while also racking up their second straight 20-win campaign.<p>"I'm so proud of these young ladies and what they have accomplished," said JU head coach Shane Wood, who was able to guide the Dolphins back to the title in his first season at the helm. "This group played so well as a team and our chemistry was really strong all season.<p>"Everyone on the team was a contributor this week in winning the title. "I'm glad that Lena was able to finish her career at home with a win in such a dominating fashion.
